Eric Frank became the President of Tosca in November 2012 after the merger of Tosca and Georgia Pacific’s Reusable Plastic Container business. Prior to that role, Eric spent 9 years with the Georgia Pacific RPC Division where he held positions as General Manager, Regional Manager, Operations Manager, and National Sales Manager. During his tenure at Georgia Pacific, Eric led the acquisition of the Orbis produce RPC business in 2009. He also worked at Rehrig Pacific for 3 years as National Account Manager, where he helped launch and manage the CHEP and Hays North American RPC pools. Eric began his career in textile sales with The Astrup Company. Eric has held board positions with the Reusable Packaging and Container Coalition (RPCC) and the Returnable Packaging Association (RPA).
Eric holds a B.A. degree in Communications from Stephen F. Austin State University. He is married with two children and lives in Alpharetta, GA.
Scott Smith started with Tosca as Chief Financial Officer in 2014. In that capacity he oversees all finance, accounting, and IT functions. Prior to Tosca, he worked in the equipment pooling business for nine years with Brambles and its pallet pooling subsidiary CHEP and document management subsidiary Recall. In the Brambles group, Smith held positions as Director of Finance, Global Controller, and Sr. Director Supply Chain Integration. Prior to his involvement in the pooling industry, Smith held a variety of financial roles over ten years with AT&T (then BellSouth) including CFO of Stevens Graphics. Finally, Smith began his career with Regions Bank (then AmSouth Bank) as an internal auditor for four years. Smith holds certifications as a certified public accountant, certified management accountant, and certified internal auditor.
Smith has an undergraduate degree from Samford University in Birmingham,AL and an MBA from Emory’s Goizueta School of Business in Atlanta, GA. He is married with three children and lives in Peachtree City, GA.
Dave Rodgers has been the Vice President of Sales/Business Development at Tosca since early 2013. He has sales responsibilities for the bulk, eggs, poultry, produce and protein business units. Rodgers has been involved in the RPC industry since the launch of Hays Container Services in 2002 and has served in a variety of roles working for ORBIS Container Services and IFCO Systems. Prior to his involvement in the RPC industry, Rodgers was Vice President of Sales for ORBIS Corporation and a start-up employee with CHEP, spending over nine years in roles ranging from operations, sales and general management. Rodgers was President of the Reusable Plastic Container Coalition (RPCC), now known as the Returnable Packaging Association (RPA), in 2006. Finally, Rodgers began his career with Baxter Healthcare Corporation in Chicago serving in a variety of supply chain positions for 10 years.
Rodgers has an undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University in Ohio and an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in Lake Forest, IL. He is married with three children and lives in Arroyo Grande, CA.
Mike Wasson recently joined Tosca as Vice President of Supply Chain & Operations in October, 2014. In his role, he provides leadership and direction to all supply chain & plant operations functions including asset management, supply chain optimization, logistics, transportation, customer service, procurement, corporate safety, plant productivity, and service quality. Wasson has 20+ years of broad-based supply chain and operations experience in large size organizations. His background includes his most recent role as Director of Direct Store Delivery Planning Solutions with Coca-Cola Refreshments and previous leadership roles with DHL Express – U.S.A., Roadway Express, Inc., and Hammacher Schlemmer, Inc.
Wasson earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration -Marketing from Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois. He is an APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional and is working towards APICS Production and Inventory Management certification. In addition, Wasson serves on the national APICS Supply Chain Council – Board of Directors and the APICS Corporate Advisory Board. He is married with one daughter and resides in Woodstock, GA.
Susan Heil joined Tosca in May of 2013 as the Director of Marketing and was promoted to Vice President in 2017. In this role, Susan is responsible for managing the corporate marketing function and creating strategic marketing plans in response to customer and market segment needs. She oversees brand management, media relations, marketing communications, and advertising. Prior to joining Tosca, Susan spent the last 4 years leading Marketing at Underwriters Laboratories – Environment and the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute, which was acquired by UL. She also has extensive consumer marketing experience having spent more than 15 years at EarthLink and Sprint in a variety of marketing roles from brand management to retail marketing.
Susan holds a B.A. degree in Communication Studies from University of Iowa. She is married and lives in Atlanta, GA.
Matthew Johnson joined Tosca in June of 2016 as the Director of Human Resource Services. In this role, Matt is responsible driving human resources strategies and the delivery of HR services for the organization. Johnson oversees talent acquisition, team member relations, organizational development, compensation, payroll, benefits, and health and wellness. Prior to joining Tosca, Matt has spent his career working in multiple disciplines of HR for organizations including Coca-Cola, Progressive Insurance and Aramark. Most recently, he spent the last year as a private consultant where he counseled organizational leaders and provided training and coaching in the strategic and operational aspects of performance management, process improvement and organizational design.
Matt holds an undergraduate degree in Organizational Management from Midway University and MBA from Thomas More College. Additionally, he holds both SPHR and SHRM-SCP professional certifications from the Human Resources Capital Institute, and the Society for Human Resources Management, respectively. Matt is married with one child and lives in Alpharetta, GA.
Mark Hibbard started with Tosca as Director of IT in October 2014. In that capacity, he oversees the IT functions for all Tosca locations across the country. Prior to Tosca, he worked in the 3PL business for 3 years with Genco in a Senior Project Manager capacity managing the on-boarding process for their customers. Prior to his involvement in the 3PL industry, Hibbard held a variety of IT roles including VP of Customer Services for an IT Business Partner Integrator as well as Senior Manager at a global financial and technology consulting firm. Finally, Hibbard began his career as a Technical Support Specialist with Burroughs/Unisys Corporation in Green Bay, WI. Mark holds an Inventory Management certification from The Grant W. Howard Company an internationally-recognized expert in inventory best practices as well as several other technology based certificates.
Hibbard has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from St Norbert College in DePere, WI. He is married with three children and lives in Green Bay, WI.
