Container RentalReturnable container rental and management programs help create efficiencies and reduce total distribution cost. Tosca Operations is organized into expert teams, responsible for cleaning and sanitizing regimens, regulatory compliance and reporting, logistical support systems required for container control, functional maintenance of the fleet, and environmentally sound management practices.

Logistics SupportPooled assets aren’t working for our customers if they are sitting idle in a warehouse or distribution center. Tosca’s logistics services works with customers to extend efficiencies across the supply chain. The logistics function is customized to each customer’s unique needs, but Tosca offers a suite of services as it pertains to the management of the returnable asset, including: complete logistics management, container reverse logistics management, as well as inbound sequencing.

System TrackingTosca currently tracks over 20 million container movements each year, a number that is continually expanding. We adopt the most cost effective tracking solution for the job including asset management software, RFID and barcode technology, and advanced labeling systems. In combination, Tosca’s tracking capability helps our customers analyze the costs and benefits associated with the returnable application.

WashingHow clean is clean? Your industry requirements and regulatory compliance drive Tosca’s washing and sanitization standards. Our teams provide FDA and HACCP sanitation, plus all documentation required for compliance, quality assurance, and food safety programs. When needed, we work with independent testing labs to verify sanitation results. Our world-class automated cleaning and drying systems allow us to offer superior value for cleaning a range of container sizes. Pre-wash services include inspection, de-trashing, and de-labeling, as required.

RepairTosca has pioneered techniques for the expert maintenance and repair of any container constructed from thermoformed plastic. Our experienced technicians use FDA approved materials to repair any holes, cracks, and scratches. Meticulous grinding and buffing resurfaces the interior to eliminate any cavities, thus bringing the container up to USDA standards. We repair a wide variety of parts on collapsible and bulk containers, including flanges, spigots, lids, and bottoms.

Account ManagementIf you rent, manage, or service any type of pooled, closed-loop returnable container, a need exists to anticipate all the details and issues that arise in the supply chain.
