How clean is clean?  For Tosca, the customer defines the standards of cleanliness to be met for the returnable containers that are rented from, or managed by Tosca. The frequency of cleaning will also be a factor in the decision making process.  Regulatory compliance for each application plays a significant role in determining these standards, and Tosca provides FDA and HACCP sanitation, when necessary.  All documentation required for compliance, and for additional quality assurance/food safety programs will be compiled and managed by Tosca, according to customer needs.

In response to the high-volume demands of returnable container pooling, Tosca has installed world-class automated cleaning and drying systems.  This customized machinery allows Tosca to offer 'low cost, superior value' cleaning of a range of container sizes for a diverse customer base.  Tosca's pre-wash services include inspection, de-trashing, and de-labeling, as required.  When container availability is critical, Tosca's Clean Team is prepared to respond!

Tosca also works with independent testing labs to verify sanitation results.  Tests are performed to detect aerobic plate count, yeast & mold, pathogens, chemical residues, and visible dirt. Tosca will schedule additional testing procedures, by request.
