Eric Frank
CEO
Eric Frank became the President of Tosca in November 2012 after the merger of Tosca and Georgia Pacific’s Reusable Plastic Container business. Prior to that role, Eric spent 9 years with the Georgia Pacific RPC Division where he held positions as General Manager, Regional Manager, Operations Manager, and National Sales Manager. During his tenure at Georgia Pacific, Eric led the acquisition of the Orbis produce RPC business in 2009. He also worked at Rehrig Pacific for 3 years as National Account Manager, where he helped launch and manage the CHEP and Hays North American RPC pools. Eric began his career in textile sales with The Astrup Company. Eric has held board positions with the Reusable Packaging and Container Coalition (RPCC) and the Returnable Packaging Association (RPA).
Eric holds a B.A. degree in Communications from Stephen F. Austin State University. He is married with two children and lives in Alpharetta, GA.
Matt Harrison
Chief Financial Officer
Matt Harrison joined Tosca in November 2022 and oversees all facets of finance for the organization globally. He has broad international experience, including leading finance, accounting and legal teams in Atlanta, Mexico City, Hamburg, Johannesburg and Hanoi. Matt began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers before moving into investment banking where he gained a wealth of experience in M&A and equity and debt financings. As CFO of the publicly traded Hiland Partners and Summit Midstream Partners, Matt led all facets of finance and accounting. Immediately prior to joining Tosca, Matt was CFO for Fortna Inc., a global leader in designing, developing and delivering transformative omni-channel and parcel distribution solutions across North America, Europe and South Africa.
Matt holds an MBA from Northwestern University, J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a BS in Accounting from University of Tennessee. He lives in the Atlanta area with his wife and three sons.
Michael Wasson
Chief Operations Officer
Mike Wasson joined Tosca as Vice President of Supply Chain & Operations in October, 2014. In his current role as Chief Operations Officer, Wasson provides leadership and direction to all supply chain & plant operations functions including asset management, supply chain optimization, logistics, transportation, customer service, procurement, corporate safety, plant productivity, and service quality. Wasson has 20+ years of broad-based supply chain and operations experience in large size organizations. His background includes roles as Director of Direct Store Delivery Planning Solutions with Coca-Cola Refreshments and previous leadership roles with DHL Express – U.S.A., Roadway Express, Inc., and Hammacher Schlemmer, Inc.
Wasson earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Marketing from Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois. He is an APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional and is working towards APICS Production and Inventory Management certification. In addition, Wasson serves on the national APICS Supply Chain Council – Board of Directors and the APICS Corporate Advisory Board. He is married with one daughter and resides in Woodstock, GA.
Susan Heil
Chief Marketing Officer
Susan Heil joined Tosca in May of 2013 as the Director of Marketing and was promoted to Vice President in 2017. In this role, Susan is responsible for managing the corporate marketing function and creating strategic marketing plans in response to customer and market segment needs. She oversees brand management, media relations, marketing communications, and advertising. Prior to joining Tosca, Susan spent the last 4 years leading Marketing at Underwriters Laboratories – Environment and the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute, which was acquired by UL. She also has extensive consumer marketing experience having spent more than 15 years at EarthLink and Sprint in a variety of marketing roles from brand management to retail marketing.
Susan holds a B.A. degree in Communication Studies from University of Iowa. She is married and lives in Atlanta, GA.
Jesse Sels
Chief Innovation Officer
Jesse Sels became the EMEA president of Tosca after the company he founded, Contraload NV, was acquired by Tosca in August 2020. Jesse has been in the pooling business for over 20 years, beginning his career at CHEP, a global company that offers pallet and container pooling. He co-founded Contraload in 2004, building the business to be what it is today, the European market leader in pooled plastic pallets. Contraload actively works with some of the largest fast moving consumer goods producers in Europe, serving pickup and delivery to over 3000 customer locations in Europe, a number that grows more than 15% every year. Jesse has worked hard to foster a strong work environment at Contraload, building trust by establishing a culture of open communication at every meeting.
Jesse has a degree in Applied Economic Sciences and Major Transport Economics from the University of Antwerp. He lives in Aartselaar, near Antwerp in Belgium with his wife and son.
Tommie Kennedy
Chief Human Resources Officer
Tommie Kennedy joined Tosca in September 2019 as the Chief Human Resources Officer. Tommie is an accomplished Human Resources professional with more than 20 years of experience working with large global organizations such as Coca-Cola and CHEP. Prior to joining Tosca, she worked at Continental Building Products as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for the United States and Canada. Tommie’s focus as a business leader and HR leader is to build organizational capability through people.
Tommie has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from The State University of New York at Stony Brook and a Master of Industrial and Labor Relations degree in Human Resources Management from Cornell University/Baruch College. Tommie is married with one daughter and lives in Fayetteville, GA.
Mike Weinberg
Chief Information Officer
Mike Weinberg joined Tosca as Chief Information Officer in May, 2019. In this role, he is responsible for leading technology solutions throughout the organization. Mike has over 25 years of technology leadership experience within management consulting, retail, and hospitality industries. Over the past 10 years, Mike served in a variety of leadership roles within InterContinental Hotels Group most recently as Vice President of Global Hospitality Solutions. Prior to IHG, Mike worked in management consulting with Deloitte and Answerthink as well as serving as CIO for RetailOne.
Mike has an undergraduate degree from Emory University and an MBA from Emory’s Goizueta School of Business in Atlanta. He is married with three children and lives in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
Steve Arendsen
President – North America
Tosca, a global leader in reusable packaging solutions and pooling, has promoted Steve Arendsen to President – North America, reporting directly to Eric Frank, Chief Executive Officer. Steve’s leadership will enable Tosca to provide greater focus on the specific needs of Tosca’s North America customers.
Steve’s career in the supply chain industry began at Georgia Pacific where he spent over thirty years in various roles, including serving as the business director for the reusable packaging division that was later sold to create what is now Tosca. Later, Steve joined Tosca in September of 2020 as Vice President of Global Procurement and US Supply Chain. In this role, Steve led his team through some of the most unprecedented supply chain challenges the industry has ever seen. Having been a part of the evolution of the plastic reusables industry since its entrance in North America, he is uniquely qualified to provide leadership in operational excellence as well as continued business growth.
Steve is married with three adult children. The family loves to travel and looks forward to spending time together on the road.
Dan Lee
Dan joined Tosca in December 2022 as the President of EMEA. He brings a wealth of commercial and operational experience to his role along with a strong desire to continue to build on the success of the EMEA region.
Dan spent the first part of his career working for Dallas-based NCH Europe, an industrial chemical supplier before moving to Safetykleen Europe where he spent over 10 years in senior executive leadership roles within private equity. These included UK Managing Director at the time APAX acquired the business in 2017.
Immediately prior to joining Tosca, Dan spent 4 years in various roles at phs Group, most recently as Group Managing Director – Specialist Businesses. Phs is a leading workplace services provider in the UK, Ireland, and Spain. During his time there, Dan was part of the management team that saw the change of ownership from private equity to The Bidvest Group.
Dan is based in the UK and lives with his fiancée and young daughter.
