Atlanta, GA (May 25, 2021)\u00a0–\u00a0Tosca<\/a>, an innovator in reusable packaging and supply chain solutions, announced today that\u00a0its line of poultry Reusable Plastic Containers (RPCs)\u00a0is being used\u00a0by poultry provider Fieldale farms to transport products\u00a0to\u00a0a\u00a0major northeast grocery retailer.\u00a0Tosca\u00a0Poultry RPCs were engineered to be a better, safer, and more sustainable\u00a0packaging option for high volume supply chains like poultry.\u00a0<\/p>

Fieldale\u00a0has been\u00a0shipping\u00a0poultry products to\u00a0stores\u00a0in Tosca\u2019s\u00a0innovative\u00a0RPC\u00a0solution, replacing\u00a0single-use\u00a0corrugated boxes.\u00a0Sustainability is incredibly important to Fieldale\u00a0as it has\u00a0made impressive strides to reduce\u00a0its\u00a0environmental impact.\u00a0<\/p>

\u201cWe are excited to be adding RPCs to our sustainability strategy as it helps\u00a0us achieve our goal to modernize our supply chain,\u201d said Jeff Paschall, VP of Sales at Fieldale. \u201cWe recently banned foam trays from our products and the decision to use reusable containers is the obvious next step as RPCs eliminate waste and cut single use corrugated out of the supply chain entirely.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>

This change is expected to have an incredibly positive influence on operations\u00a0all the way through the supply chain.\u00a0RPCs\u00a0are\u00a0far more durable\u00a0than corrugated alternatives,\u00a0reducing labor\u00a0spent managing box failures\u00a0and the messes that result.\u00a0The RPCs are designed to handle the weight of many heavy containers stacked on top of\u00a0them\u00a0so the product inside does not bear any weight. This eliminates compression on the poultry and reduces damage and related issues.\u00a0The stakeholders involved can be\u00a0assured that the\u00a0poultry contents\u00a0inside\u00a0will arrive at the retailer exactly the way they were sent.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>
