Together, they move the planet forward by creating innovative food solutions for the health and well-being of people everywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visit&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.puratos.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.puratos.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.toscaltd.com\/emea\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/01\/Tosca_Still_4K_07.jpg.webp\" alt=\"Operational and sustainable benefits\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>THE PARTNERSHIP<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Operational and sustainable benefits<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To date, the partnership has driven the following operational and sustainability benefits:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>By switching to Tosca\u2019s CR1-pallets, Puratos now uses\u00a0<strong>high-quality, clean, and sustainable plastic pallets<\/strong>, which has helped\u00a0<strong>improve safety and reduce product damage<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In addition, Puratos has benefited from using Tosca\u2019s pool of Superior Hybrid IBCs for liquids and Magnum Optimum containers for dry bulk products. These solutions have not only\u00a0<strong>supported aseptic filling<\/strong>, but have also helped\u00a0<strong>reduce Puratos\u2019 emissions, resource consumption, and exposure to volatile pricing of plastic one-way packaging.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Moreover, Tosca and Puratos have worked together to\u00a0<strong>reduce food waste<\/strong>\u00a0by innovating ways to maximise product extracted from a container\u2019s liner. By trialling a combination of the Superior Hybrid Containers, a 1000-litre liner, and the right squeeze machine, Puratos has been able to significantly reduce the residue of highly viscous and thick products, resulting in less than 0.3% waste.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.toscaltd.com\/emea\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/01\/Screenshot-2023-05-12-at-10.16.21-AM.png.webp\" alt=\"Positive Sustainability Impact\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>INTRODUCING<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Positive Sustainability Impact<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Given their joint commitment to sustainability, Tosca conducted a<strong>&nbsp;Life Cycle Analysis (LCA)<\/strong>&nbsp;to compare the environmental impact of Puratos\u2019 previous solution with the new pooling solution put in place by Tosca.
