My name is Dominika, and I work as a Site Administrator at Tosca UK, supporting the Wakefield and Coventry depots. I joined the company in 2019 through an agency on a part-time basis, and over time my role has grown and evolved alongside the business. Originally, I am from Poland, but I have been living in the UK for over 20 years, having moved here as a teenager.
What makes working at Tosca meaningful for me is the opportunity to continuously learn and develop. Throughout my journey, I have had the chance to work across different areas of the business, including supporting the HR team as an HR Administrator before returning to operations. I have also supported both the downstream and upstream sides of the business. This variety has given me a broader understanding of how everything connects and works together, while also helping me build confidence and expand my knowledge.
One of the things that stands out to me is the level of teamwork between people, especially during busy periods. There is a strong sense of responsibility, and people are generally willing to step in and support when it matters. I also value being part of a company that focuses on sustainability and supports charitable initiatives, which adds a wider purpose to the work we do.
I would describe the culture at Tosca as supportive, collaborative, and customer-focused. It is a fast-paced environment where you learn to adapt quickly and work closely with others to get things done.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, spending time outdoors, and exploring new places. It helps me recharge and maintain a healthy work–life balance. I also enjoy reading, especially historical fantasy books, as well as arts and crafts.
I would recommend Tosca as a place to work for people who are looking to gain experience, develop their skills, and be part of a dynamic and evolving environment.
