My name is Simirun Mattu, and I work as a Management Accountant based in Dudley. I’ve been part of Tosca for just over four years now. I joined straight out of university as a Finance Assistant, and over the years I’ve grown into my current role — supported every step of the way by an incredible and encouraging team. Tosca has also backed me in completing several of my CIMA exams, which has played a major role in shaping my professional journey.
What makes working at Tosca meaningful for me are the people. It may sound simple, but it’s true: people make all the difference. Here, I’m surrounded by supportive, kind, and motivated colleagues who make each day more enjoyable. Over time, those working relationships have turned into real friendships — the kind that last far beyond the office.
Since Tosca was my first professional role, it holds a very special place in my heart. It’s where I learned how to navigate the working world, how to communicate confidently, and how to grow into myself. Those “firsts” create memories and lessons that stay with you forever.
What has meant the most to me is the opportunity to grow. As a young woman in finance, I’ve always been encouraged to challenge myself, to take on new responsibilities, and to keep developing. The trust and support from my managers has helped me grow both personally and professionally — and it’s something I’m truly grateful for.
I would describe Tosca’s culture as passionate, purpose‑led, people‑driven, and impact‑focused.
Outside of work, my world looks a little different. I’m also a professional dancer, trained in several styles, and I’ve even run my own classes alongside my role. I love performing arts, travelling, trying new foods, and exploring new cultures whenever I get the chance. I’m very family‑oriented and believe deeply in the idea that it takes a community to shape you — something I’ll always stay grateful for.
And yes… I fully intend to become super rich with fancy houses and cars one day. A girl can dream — and dreams do come true. 😉
I would recommend Tosca as a place to work because it genuinely champions hard work and ambition. If you’re willing to put in the effort, you’ll be encouraged, supported, and pushed to grow. It’s a company that recognises potential, values development, and invests in the success of its people. For anyone who wants to build a meaningful and progressive career, Tosca is the place to be.
